Multimodality AUC 3.0

The Multimodality AUC App serves as a resource for healthcare professionals, facilitating the assessment of suitable use ratings for seven cardiac imaging modalities across 80 clinical scenarios. This tool is underpinned by the 2013 Multimodality Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) for the Detection and Risk Assessment of Stable Ischemic Heart Disease, as endorsed by multiple prestigious organizations including the ACCF, AHA, ASE, ASNC, HFSA, HRS, SCAI, SCCT, SCMR, and STS.

It is essential to note that the app is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or condition and does not qualify as a Clinical Decision Support Mechanism (CDSM) as per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Consequently, it should not be utilized to meet CMS Appropriate Use Criteria program requirements. The app is purely for informational purposes and should not be interpreted as medical, legal, or professional advice.

By utilizing this application, healthcare professionals can navigate through patient-specific data to identify which cardiac imaging modalities may be considered appropriate, possibly appropriate, or rarely appropriate based on established AUC. While this tool offers valuable guidance, it should complement rather than replace clinical judgment and expertise.
